Comments about Murad Acne Complex Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 PA++:

I live in a very humid, hot climate and I was looking for a product that would control my very oily skin, yet provide sun protection. This is it! I've tried many others, but this one is great under my foundation and by itself. Goes on easily, smells slightly of sunscreen. It controls my extremely oily T-zone and provides a primer for my foundation. I'm a blond, 50-year-old that sometimes still has minor breakouts. I recommend this to anyone who has very oily skin and has mild acne.

Comments about Murad Acne Complex Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 PA++:

This is the only mattifying lotion that lasts a full day. I have combination skin but a very oily t zone. This product keeps that "shine" from appearing all day long. I just apply it directly to my t zone after washing my face in the morning and never have to worry. Added bonus that it has SPF 15, which matches the SPF in my normal face lotion (which I apply everywhere else but my t zone). Worth the price, even if the product is on the expensive side!

Comments about Murad Acne Complex Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 PA++:

Was recommended this moisturizer after a facial. Smells a little bit like sunscreen BUT mattifies your skin quickly. I use this both in the morning and at night and I swear the bumps on my forehead are slowly disappearing! It's best to slightly pat/push the moisturizer in your skin so its not just sitting on top of your skin and not doing its job, and you'll look less oily/moisturizer-y. However, the moisturizer is really thick and does not glide easily on your skin. You'll have to put in a little more force when spreading it across your face. Really pricey and you'll easily go through a tube so be careful if you use this every day and night. I bought this on May 6 and ran out today, July 21.

I have an oily T zone and am usually really shiny by the end of the day. I've tried lots of "mattifying" products and this is the first one I've used that really works well all day long. I put it on in the morning, and when I get home from work, I'm still not shiny at all. I apply it after my moisturizer and before my primer (I use Smashbox pore minimizer primer). Highly recommend!

This was suggested to me after talking with a beauty consultant at Ulta. I have extremely oily skin, especially in the t-zone area, and hated the way my makeup would look shiny after just an hour. However, I've been using this Murad moisturizer for 3 years now and it works extremely well for me. I can go all day without shine when I use this, and I don't have to keep powdering my face to matte down the shine! I love this product!

I consider myself a budget buyer but will spend the money on a good brand IF it works and I know I'm getting what I paid for. This works well. Seems thick and smells a tiny bit like Elmers glue but it is not oily or greasy and it does leave my skin less dry and oily throughout the day. Does not feel heavy or feel like you have a thick layer of product on your face.

I have been using this product for probably about 10+ years! I am extremely oily and sensitive. I use this as my moisturizer, under a primer and under makeup, everyday. It keeps my face from getting so oily throughout the day. I will even use it on the days I dont wear makeup. I love that it has spf in it. It spreads so easily you do not need a lot at all, so it lasts a very long time! It is definitely a must have for me!

It can be good for combination skin. Because it's very mattifing some people who are drier in certain areas of their face like to use this in their T-Zone and a more hydrating moisturizer on the drier areas.

You can use all of these items. It really depends on your main concerns. Typically we would say use 1 in the morning and 1 at night. For you, you can mix and match depending on what your skin is doing and how it feels. For example some days I use a few of the acne products and then some of the products from Age Reform. Other days I use some Environmental Shield products with the Age Reform.
As for the Oil-Control Mattifer - this is a very light moisturizer that will give the skin a matte finish. This woul dbe your last daytime step before apply any color makeup.
