Comments about Murad Acne Complex Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 PA++:

If you're like me, then most sunscreens cause undeniable breakouts... I was skeptical when I first tried this product because it is really thick in consistency but it rubs in easily and absorbs without any residue left behind. I've been using this product every day as my daytime moisturizer on top of the acne clearing solution and I haven't had any issues with it whatsoever. Yay! I've noticed my overall skin tone has evened out significantly since using this product regularly and I don't get as oily either. Lastly, I'm very happy with the amount of hydration it provides as I was worried the mattifying aspect might cause dryness or just simply not moisturize enough but that's not the case at all. For reference, I have oily/combination skin and mild acne. Super happy with this product and I absolutely recommend it, worth the price and does exactly what it claims.

I wish you got a bit more product for the $$ because the cleanser that pairs with this is the same price but the bottle 3 times bigger. But overall this product is my go to all in 1 skin product, acts as a moisturizer, mattifier, spf block and can even be used as a make up primer!

I apply this product after washing my face and before applying my makeup. It hydrates the skin once it's applied and then drys quickly so makeup can be applied over it. This product works wonders keeping my face dry from oils that cause my makeup to smear and it does that w/o drying out my skin. It acts like a barrier to my pores in a way. I love it!

I bought this one because so many people were raving about it and it seemed to get good reviews. I was disappointed. It does not help mattify or control my oil at all. But I did like that it has that little bit of SPF in it.

I wanted to like this brand so bad. I bought the entire line and I was faithful to it for 2 months, but it did nothing but make my face go back to a teenager. Horrible acne like I haven't seen in decades!!! At first I thought maybe it's just the initial "clearing out" of my pores. But as I went into the 2 month the flare ups just got worse. I was starting to get cystic acne and I've NEVER had that before, even when I was a teenager. I finally had to say "enough is enough" and I've went back to Proactiv just to get my skin back to normal before I try to find a new product line that works on anti-aging/acne.

                        A:

It can be good for combination skin. Because it's very mattifing some people who are drier in certain areas of their face like to use this in their T-Zone and a more hydrating moisturizer on the drier areas.

                        A:

You can use all of these items. It really depends on your main concerns. Typically we would say use 1 in the morning and 1 at night. For you, you can mix and match depending on what your skin is doing and how it feels. For example some days I use a few of the acne products and then some of the products from Age Reform. Other days I use some Environmental Shield products with the Age Reform.
As for the Oil-Control Mattifer - this is a very light moisturizer that will give the skin a matte finish. This woul dbe your last daytime step before apply any color makeup.
