Comments about Clarisonic Acne Cleansing Brush Head:

Works great on my sensitive, acne and combination skin. I just wish they were a little less expensive, but taking care of your skin is important so it's worth the money.

Great results but not much different from the radiance brush

By Courtney

Comments about Clarisonic Acne Cleansing Brush Head:

I bought this acne brush to switch off between it and the radiance brush. So far after only a week I haven't really been able to tell a difference between the two brushes. Both work wonderfully I just don't know if there is much of a difference.

No rubber spacer with new brusher

By Morgsn

from San Antonio Tx

Comments about Clarisonic Acne Cleansing Brush Head:

When I tried to replace the brush head the new ones do not have the rubber spacer to go between brush head and machine so they do not turn. Could not remove it from old brush so I will have to return to see what needs to be done. Back to using my old brush

You can't tell I have severe acne

By Puffins

from Medford Lakes, NJ

Verified Buyer

Pros

  • Affordable compared to acne solution systems
  • Convenient
  • Gentle yet deep cleaning
  • Not harsh on sensitive skin

Cons

  • When your Clarisonic goes off in your suitcase

Best Uses

  • Everyday!
  • Practically any skin type
  • Spa-like pampering at home

Comments about Clarisonic Acne Cleansing Brush Head:

I have severe adult acne and flakey, dry skin, but using Clarisonic and this brush head, I have normal-looking skin. Because this brush replaces expensive acne remedies I can simply alternate between pricier soaps like Giovanni Detox cleansers and affordable cleansers like Dove and Clean & Clear. For moisture I use Eu'genia Shea Butter and Giovanni lotions. My acne is not gone, I have a few cysts that are painless and not visible (double yay!), but this is the best tool I have to keep acne in check.

Comments about Clarisonic Acne Cleansing Brush Head:

Not much to say other than I really like this brush head. I've tried a few different ones, and this one has been the best so far because I prefer how soft it is. I use it every night on my oily, acne prone skin, and it cleanses nicely. If you're looking for a very soft and gentle head for your Clarisonic, I definitely recommend trying this one.

    • Q:

I have hormonal acne on my face. It appears during that time of month and when I have stress. I just purchased the Clarisonic Mia 1. Which brush should I purchase??
Asked on 12/30/2016 by Cait from Winter Haven, FL

      1 answer

      • Brand Expert

        A:

Hi Cait, thank you so much for your question.Mia 1 and Mia 2 will now feature the Radiance brush head which is extremely comforting. BUT some stores will still have Mia 1 and Mia 2 sets that feature the Sensitive brush head or some stores may have both for a limited time. From your question I am not sure which brush head came with your device. If it is Radiance (pink color in the center of the brush head) you are fine, if it is Sensitive brush head and you feel your skin is more sensitive during that time of the month then I would suggest Acne or Radiance brush heads. Thanks again for reaching out.

Hi, do all brusheads fit different Mia products? I can't recall which Mia (model) my daughter has.

      • Brand Expert

        A:

Hi Eve, thank you so much for your question. All Clarisonic facial brush heads are compatible with all Clarisonic facial cleansing devices. So your daughter can enjoy the Acne brush head with whatever Mia device she may have. Enjoy!

    • Q:

I have combination skin, I have little blackheads and bumps all over my face. Occasionally my skin is dry, I have been using this brush for about 2 months day and night but I want the blackheads and bumps to go away. Would this brush head be good for that or should I look more toward deep cleansing?
Asked on 9/1/2016 by Meg from California, US

      1 answer

      • Brand Expert

        A:

Hi Meg, thank so much for your question. You are correct. The acne brush head is the suggested brush head for combination skin and present acne. Suggested use is 2x's per day or day and night for 90 days. The Deep Pore brush head would be a suggestion if your skin is not experiencing any sensitivity or break out. That is a great brush head to address black heads and or congestion in the pores.

    • Q:

I am going to have my 11 year old daughter try my clarisonic due to increased breakouts. Buying a new brush for it I'm wondering if the acne brush or sensitive skin (being she's 11) brush would be best? Any other advice on a product to use would be welcomed!! thanks.
Asked on 8/18/2016 by Amy from Auburn new york

      1 answer

      • Brand Expert

        A:

Hi Amy, thank you so much for your question and reaching out to us regarding your daughter's skin. Because she is experiencing breakout, yes, the acne brush head would be fine for her to use. If she is experiencing any sensitivity along with her breakouts and feels she needs a more comforting cleansing experience she can even use the Radiance brush head. But starting with the Acne brush head first is perfectly fine. Thanks again!

    • Q:

I have oily acne prone skin, typically around that time of the month. I am debating between the deep pore and acne brush heads and was wondering which one would be better (keep in mind I have no current breakouts besides some black heads and acne scaring.)
Asked on 6/2/2016 by Maddie from St. Louis, MO

      1 answer

      • Brand Expert

        A:

Hi Maddie, thanks so much for your question. If you have oily skin with no sensitivity and you are not currently experiencing break out you may use the Deep Poor brush head. Acne brush head would be a suggestion when breakout is present. Both brush heads offer superior cleansing efficacy!

      is this brush head medicated?

      • Brand Expert

        A:

Hi there, thank you for your brush head. No, the Clarisonic Acne Cleansing Brush Head is not medicated. It is for skin that is acne-prone with some sensitivity. It features extra plush bristles that gently cleanse the skin and remove debris from pores.

    • Q:

I'm having trouble deciding between this and the deep pore cleansing brush. I have very oily skin with large pores and blackheads, and occasional whiteheads. I don't regularly get actual pimples, but when I do, they are large, swollen, deep-seeded fliud-filled cysts that linger for weeks at a time (usually one or two on my chin). I have already read the brush chart, so I know what each does-I'm just unsure of which would best suit my skin...
      Asked on 3/29/2016 by BamaBelle

      1 answer

      • Staff Expert

        A:

It sounds like the Deep Pore Brush Head may be best; when experiencing cystic acne, we advise to avoid using your Clarisonic brush on those areas until they have fully healed. Hope this helps!
