I have shoulder length hair. My hair is very fine, thin & stick straight. I want volume & loose waves. What size curling iron should I buy?

The 1" size offers the most versatile styling, but the 1 1/4" will give you more of a loose wave.

                  • Q:

Can this be used on shorter hair? I am growing my hair back out. It's naturally very curly, thick and gets frizzy. I am hoping to tame the curl as it grows to prevent the Afro look it easily does. Once it gets long enough I hope to control the curl vs fight it that took over 45mins when just past shoulder length.

This is a personal preference. In my opinion the wand is easier to use. You could search for tutorial online and see what might work better for you.
