The curling brush heats up fast. But it doesn't curl my hair it also pulls hair out. And my hair had alot of stactic. Doesn't turn off after a hour. Plus it's over priced.

Comments about Hot Tools 1" Silicone Hot Brush Styler:

I've only had this Hot Brush for a week or so and I don't use it everyday. That being said, this is an easy tool to get used to. I have fine shoulder length hair that can't decide if it wants to have a slight wave near the ends or just frizz. So usually it chooses to just frizz! This Hot Brush definately can creates a soft bouncey wave or a nice defined curly (depending on the time you hold the roll and the hair products you use). I haven't had an issue with tangling while removing the Hot Brush at all. Most likely because I have fine hair and don't just pull the Hot Brush out of a tight curl or use to much hair in one roll. I do however brush the hair piece I'm going to curl from the scalp to the ends with the Hot Brush before rolling it. This helps rid the frizz and adds some shine, but it can also cause my hair to get a bit staticky when the air is dry. For this I just mist the air over my head with water (NOT WHILE USING OR OVER THE HOT BRUSH, that would just be dangerous my friend). This seems to help with the frizz. It does take time to figure out the best way to roll your hair if your looking for a specific style, but that's with any new product, but if your looking to just put some bounce and shine in your hair it's pretty easy-peasy.

Round Brush and Blow Dryer Alturnative - I love it

If your like me - No coordination to use the blow dryer and round brush to get that bob style... Try this. I used a Blow Dry protector spray and texturizer paste ( small amount ) and used my paddle brush and blow dryer. When done I used this Hot Brush to smooth and curl under back of my hair and the sides. really gave the Salon Appearance of someone else that gave me a blowout. For Me --- I now Love my new hair cut and that sleek just left the salon look. I have short hair - to the nape of my neck and longer on sides...
